Civil Concepts saved our client approximately $22 million and 12 months off the period of restoration by utilizing our innovative Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) design to structurally repair and retrofit a 12 level hotel damaged by multiple earthquakes in New Zealand.  Using our in-house 4D Modeling technique to simulate construction, period of restoration and cost and time benefits of implementing the FRP versus traditional retrofit techniques, we were able to develop the first ever total FRP repair and retrofit design to receive consent (permit) in New Zealand.
